Melinda Haynes is a seasoned therapist, founder and executive director of Family & Children’s Counseling Services, and the author of several transformative books in the Christian self-help genre. (Keep watching for more release dates!)
With an MA in Counseling Psychology and professional licensure in three states, Melinda has spent over two decades helping individuals and families heal from trauma and build healthier lives. Her passion for therapy stems from her own personal journey as a survivor of childhood trauma, which she overcame through a Christian faith and psychological insight. This healing process has not only strengthened her work as a therapist but has also deepened her dedication to empowering others on their own paths to wholeness. As a clinical supervisor, Melinda is committed to mentoring new therapists and helping them lay a solid foundation for their careers. Melinda is also the creator of the first fully online Professional Supervised Visitation Training course, which has helped hundreds of students launch successful careers in the helping professions. Through her writing, courses, and therapy practice, Melinda’s mission is simple yet profound: to help others heal, play, and love — a mission that drives her work and her personal life. She believes that with the right guidance and faith, anyone can overcome their past and create a future filled with joy and purpose. |
